Using Epoxy Countertops

Epoxy Countertops

Epoxy CountertopsEpoxy Countertops are not used a lot in kitchens but we had a customer that had purchased some used black epoxy countertops form a person. This is also being Eco friendly these top would have just made into the job site dumpster because they were ordered for a job and not used they are a custom order so they couldn’t be used any other location. We cut out the sink, made the appropriate cuts where they needed to be seamed.

To make the cuts you will need to do this outside because there is a lot of dust from this product.

For the sink we first laid out the location so it would match the existing cabinet. This needs to be done very carefully because if you are using used countertops you have to work with what you have. It could be very hard to order the same type, color, etc. You will have to use a hole saw to make the corner cuts. This can be done with a hole saw made specifically for brick. They are a little pricy but worth it. Once you have the four corners drilled you will need to make the straight cuts using a circular saw and a diamond blade.
